About

Hello friend and welcome. I’m a woman who owns a farm, a mom,  a daughter, a sister, a blogger, and a co-conspirator in adventures that include my beautiful daughters, my grand-angels, and so many others that I am blessed to have in my life.

I love my life on the farm and just like crops that require many things to make them grow and be healthy, so is my life.  I write about crops, life, cooking and just plain living a good life in rural America.   xoxoxo  Gayle

Something interesting happens when your life turns upside down.  Finding myself suddenly single, I had the opportunity to revamp myself.  What emerged was interesting.  I had to take stock of what was important to me and figure out who I was and where I wanted to go.   What emerged was Glamor, Glitter and Guts.
Glamor: Be comfortable in your own skin.   It's okay to be feminine. Do it flamboyantly!
Glitter: Let yourself shine. Don't be afraid to show the world your inner glow. Live an empowered and passionate life
Guts; Know that you are strong and that the inner strength to get through anything is in your power.
Forgive.
Two of my favorite quotes that I live by:  You never know how strong you are until strong is your only option.    And  "Difficulties and challenges may mold me, but they do not define me" ~Mary Anne Radmacher
