Grace isn’t a little prayer you say before receiving a meal,
it’s a way to live ~Jaqueline Winspear
What a wonderful saying not only for Thanksgiving, but for simply
good words to live …. Or at least in my humble opinion.
Today, I’ve gathered the family that is here, which will be
my sweetheart, Rod and his son, Zach, my mom, both brothers & my sweet sis-in-laws. All of our kids had plans for spending the holiday
with the other side and new traditions from here on out will most likely be the
norm. This will be my first year hosting
a holiday dinner in my new vintage beauty, and looking back from this time last
year, so many, many changes have happened.
Some hard ones, some good ones and they all helped me get to this place
in my life. And I am beyond grateful. I
am blissfully happy.
As the turkey and
dressing are cooking, I have a few quiet moments before my guests arrive to acknowledge
all the supportive and true friends and my family who are my earth angels.
And hopefully I’ll be able to add some pictures later on of
my day to share. So for now, wishing
each and everyone a happy Thanksgiving and may blessings come your way.
As always, I love to hear from you, so feel free to shoot me
an email at swheatfarmlife.net or leave
a comment on the blog. All my best, Gayle
